Toronto/Los Angeles (October 8, 2014) – Leading children/family executive producer and distributor, Bejuba! Entertainment announced that is has acquired the Asian television distribution rights from Ideate Media for the highly anticipated pre-school series BUBBLE BATH BAY making it the worldwide television digital and home entertainment distributor, excluding Australia. The series produced by Essential Media and Entertainment, Malaysia’s Ideate Media, Telegael Ireland and Lemon Sky Games and Animation of Malaysia in association with Shambles Entertainment will make its premiere at MIPCOM Junior.

Based on an original concept by Gareth Eden Styche of Shambles Entertainment, BUBBLE BATH BAY (52 x 11 minutes/26 x half hours) follows Sydney, the sailboat and his best friend Zip, the trainee water taxi as they learn the ropes in Bubble Bath Bay.
The series has been commissioned by ABC Australia. Directed by former Disney Studios Animation director Steve Trenbirth, the series is executive produced by Carmel Travers and Chris Hilton from Essential Media, Ideate Media’s Zainir Aminullah, Paul Cummins of Telegael and Cheng Fei Wong of Lemon Sky Games and Animation. It is the first production deal signed by Ideate, a co-venture between Astro Overseas and Khazanah Nasional, the investment holdings arm of the government of Malaysia, to produce animated and live-action films and TV content.
